Natasha Adams

Chartered Legal Executive

Natasha joined the firm’s Residential Conveyancing Department in March 2016. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and has been qualified for over 10 years.  She is an experienced Legal Executive specialising in in Residential Conveyancing. She also has experience in Wills and Probate. Outside work, Natasha loves to read – anything from horror, mystery, crime and fantasy but most definitely not romance. She loves to watch movies but most definitely not soppy movies. She is a massive fan of Walking Dead, Bones, Elementary and Game of Thrones. She goes to aquacise and swimming Natasha used to do karate, achieved 2nd dan brown belt and was working towards black belt but the club closed. She has a CBT and used to own a 125cc motorbike.  Natasha also has two rescue cats, father and son that have turned her walls, furniture and carpet into their own personal scratch post haven! Debbie Baker

Conveyancing Executive

Before joining the firm in March 2015, Debbie gained a 2:1 in Biomedical science. Debbie decided to change careers and working in a solicitors firm sounded ideal. Debbie started out as a completions clerk, and unexpectantly went on maternity leave for 6 months. On her return back to work, in a short amount of time she progressed to a paralegal. In her spare time, which is not a lot these days as her beautiful daughter Isabelle keeps her fully occupied, Debbie enjoys watching animated films and spending time with friends and family.  

Gillian Calliste

Conveyancing Solicitor

Gillian qualified as a solicitor in 1986, and specialised in working for housing associations. In 1990 she joined a firm in South London and was made the first female partner in the history of the firm. Gillian gained considerable experience in housing association work, acting for housing associations setting up the sales of new developments and drafting the leases and documentation. She was also involved in drafting the 2010 version of the Homes and Communities Agency model leases for use by housing associations. Gillian joined the firm in 2013 and now deals with primarily non-standard conveyancing, such as transfers of equity, housing association matters, new builds, sales of part of titles and assignments of contracts. In her spare time Gillian enjoys running (slowly!) – She has run 57 marathons and after a break of a few years, hopes to start running marathons again later in the year; going to the theatre, opera and ballet, dining out and reading good literature, and last but not least running or walking with her energetic border collie Dennis! Jade Clark

Conveyancing Executive

Jade joined Cook Taylor Woodhouse in March 2014 as a legal secretary. She has since progressed and now has her own case load dealing with both leasehold and freehold conveyancing transactions. Carla Figueira

Head of Leasehold Enfranchisement

Carla joined the firm in 2005 and specialises in Leasehold Enfranchisement. She has amassed considerable experience advising leaseholders seeking to exercise their right to extend their leases or acquire the freehold of their building. She also has particular expertise in obtaining the various Licences associated with leasehold properties and the granting of consent from landlords. Katie Ingham

Anila Marsh

Anila joined the firm in 2007 as a legal secretary; she then progressed to a completions clerk and now deals with a variety of non-standard conveyancing transactions. Rahat Munim

Conveyancing Solicitor

Rahat studied law in university of Buckingham and continued there for his masters in law. He then worked for a year in a central London law firm practising various areas of the legal profession, but mainly property law. Rahat did his LPC in BPP London. He joined the firm in 2013 and specialises in residential conveyancing of both freehold and leasehold properties. Outside of work Rahat likes football and snooker and supports Manchester United. Rose Niranjanan

Rose has been a qualified solicitor since 2008 and has worked at Cook Taylor Woodhouse since 2013 dealing with residential conveyancing. Nimmi has been working in Conveyancing since 1993 starting out as a secretary and eventually fulfilling her ambition of handling her own case load. Shafaet Qureshi

Shaf has been a qualified solicitor since July 2015. He undertook his training in a London firm; before joining Cook Taylor Woodhouse in February 2016 to join the Residential Conveyancing Department. Outside of work, Shaf enjoys going to the gym and – though no longer playing as much as he would like – Shaf is a keen follower of football (being another London based Manchester United fan). Tom Sharp

Private Client Executive

Tom joined the firm on 9th January 2015 and deals with Wills and Probate. He has over 39 years’ experience in Private Client Banking. He started his career with Clydesdale Bank, as a boy from school; his roles included Branch Management of Staff of 70 for 7 years, regulated roles for Mortgages and Financial Advice. His qualifications were Chartered Banker, CeMap (Mortgage Advice and Practice) and CeFA (Financial Advice). He was a Private Banker with RBS, Coutts and Nat West Commercial Office, for 5 years and then a Financial Consultant with Lloyds for 1 year. Tom was also Director of a Share Nominee and Custody Company; a Trustee of the Bankers Benevolent Fund and also signed the Official Secrets Act. Recently Tom stopped playing Hockey after 43 years, the last 20 as a Goal Keeper, due to right knee being a bit iffy. Tom plays Golf badly, which he admits is a terrible confession for a Scotsman. Carla Sherwin

Chartered Legal Executive

Carla joined the firm in February 2016 where she was initially employed as an in-house locum. In December 2016 she was given the opportunity to be set up as a fee earner and now heads up a team of 2 assistants and a secretary.   Carla has been working in residential conveyancing for in excess of 10 years, where she initially started off as a legal secretary and worked her way up the ladder whilst studying part time to become a Legal Executive.  Carla finally qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in March 2015.  Outside of work she enjoys going to the cinema and shopping and generally relaxing in front of the telly with her husband after a hard day’s work; though in reality most of her spare time is taken up by her young son who rarely lets her do anything other than keeping him entertained. Karen Shimmen

Karen joined the firm in 2000 where she completed her training contract. Neena Summan

Karen Finch

Conveyancing Executive

Karen started her career in property/conveyancing in 1997 working in local estate agents. She joined a local law firm in 2004 as a legal secretary but quickly progressed to a Legal Assistant for one of the firm’s partners and as such has seen both aspects of the conveyancing process. Karen joined Cook Taylor Woodhouse in December 2012 and deals with residential conveyancing. When not at work, Karen enjoys travelling, listening to music, going to Zumba classes whenever she has time to do so, she is also passionate about wildlife and conservation. Christopher Hanagan

Christopher joined us in 2011. Christopher has over 15 years’ experience advising on a full range of residential conveyancing matters. Christopher heads our affordable housing team. Christopher is an avid Liverpool FC supporter, much to the chagrin of the firm’s senior partner, who follows Liverpool City’s other less well known semi-professional team! Sally Jezard

Having gained legal experience working in various areas of the Country, Sally joined Cook Taylor Woodhouse in 2006 and qualified as a solicitor that year. Rob Kidd

Head of Conveyancing/Director

Rob has over 30 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing and has been with the firm since 2011 after working for many years in central London. This has included acting for first time buyers as well as repeat clients and property investors in both leasehold and freehold transactions. Rob has also, in the past spent some years as a foster carer looking after young children which he found immensely rewarding. Over the years Rob has enjoyed playing many sports, in particular rugby and cricket, and although he admits, his playing days are well and truly behind him, he is still very much involved in supporting both clubs. Helen Moore has been with us since May 2010 and is based in our Affordable Housing Team. Prior to this, Helen worked at a small city firm dealing with Shared Ownership Residential transactions. Kim Morris

Kim has been with the firm for nearly five years and has been working in conveyancing for over 10 years. She started as a legal secretary and studied at Westminster College for her ILEX legal secretarial certificate. She now handles a variety of residential conveyancing matters and has been doing so for 6 years. In her spare time Kim spends time with her son, reads and goes on city breaks. Ben O’Keeffe

Ben joined the firm’s Residential Conveyancing Department in February 2016. Having obtained his bachelors degree in law from Canterbury Christchurch University in 2014. Ben is currently studying for his Legal Practice Course part time at the University of Law. Andrew Prater


Andrew joined CTW in the January of 2005 and since then has always been based at the firm’s Dartford office. Andrew has worked in the legal profession all his working life and has specialised in residential conveyancing for nearly 30 years. Annie qualified as a solicitor in December 2009 and gained experience in the area of family law and residential conveyancing and continued to specialise in these two areas. Farhat Mahmood Ahmed

Senior Property Solicitor

Farhat qualified as a Solicitor in June 2006 and predominately deals with commercial and more complex property matters. He joined the firm in May 2014 from an established firm in Stratford, East London where he was a Partner. He has extensive experience in all property matters up to senior level dealing with and including buying and selling of residential and commercial properties, commercial and residential re-mortgage applications, transfer of equity, drafting leases, drafting commercial assignment documents including leases and licenses, auction transactions, lease extension matters along with more complex property matters. Farhat strongly believes in delivering high standard of service for his clients at all times without compromise and aims to find solutions expeditiously whilst keeping the clients best interest in mind. It is because of this approach that Farhat continues to have repeated business from clients that he has acted for on numerous transactions over a number of years. Megan Meering

Having joined the firm in 2015 as receptionist, Megan then progressed to a secretary/assistant and now deals with residential conveyancing transactions. Megan is currently studying her law degree part time with the Open University. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping and travelling to visit new places.    

Audrey Migale


Audrey has nearly 30 years’ conveyancing experience behind her. She worked in London for 22 years prior to being invited to join CTW. She is experienced in all aspects of residential conveyancing, especially new builds, Help to Buy and First Buy transactions with leasehold, freeholds and re-mortgage matters forming part of her regular transactions Berkeley Homes referred their international conveyancing clients to Audrey on 5 of their Greenwich sites. Audrey truly enjoys being a Conveyancer and feels honoured to have the trust of repeat clients and referrals on a regular basis. Away from work, Audrey enjoy being active at the gym doing weight training, yoga, swimming and to relax, enjoys discovering England’s many lovely green spaces.  She also enjoys a good film or book when not travelling. Rebecca Riva

After completing her extended business diploma, Rebecca joined the firm in November 2012 as a temp and was then offered a permanent position in January 2013 as a junior member of staff. Within a year she progressed to Post Exchange/Completions Clerk and after a short period of time was working for two fee earners. Rebecca now deals with a variety of residential conveyancing transactions. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and going to the gym as often as she can. Laura Megan Tolley

Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor

Laura graduated with a 2.1 Law degree from The University of Liverpool in 2012. She then undertook the LPC at the Laura studied a Law degree at The University of Liverpool graduating with a 2:1. She started as a Paralegal in August 2013 with an established firm in Stratford working in the Conveyancing and Immigration Departments. Laura joined Cook Taylor Woodhouse in May 2014 as a Paralegal and was offered a Training Contract in August 2014. During her Training Contract, she had conduct of a heavy case load of Residential Freehold and Leasehold Conveyancing matters as well as Re-Mortgages and Right to Buys. She also assisted with Commercial Property matters as well as private Lease Extensions and more complex Residential Property work. Since qualifying as a Solicitor in February 2016, Laura has had conduct of the firm’s Commercial Property work and deals with all Commercial Property matters such as Granting of Leases, Sales and Acquisitions of Freehold and Leasehold Commercial Property, Lease Extensions and Commercial Assignments including the Sale and Purchasing of Businesses and Goodwill. She continues to deal with more complex Residential Property work and Residential conveyancing in general for existing clients. Laura enjoys holidays abroad and shopping and has a Season Ticket at Tottenham Hotspur FC where she attends all home games and as many away games as possible throughout the season. Debra Brindle

Head of Conveyancing/Director

Debra is a proactive conveyancing solicitor who identifies and deals with the issues, instead of reacting only to problems. Debra studied Law at University College London and completed the Legal Practice Course in Store Street London with a distinction. Debra started her legal career in the Law Centre in Deptford. In 1999 Debra began her career in Property Law in earnest by joining Rudd Jepson solicitors, where she rose to partnership. In 2003 Debra set up her own property practice, many of her London clients followed which proved very successful. Having joined Cook Taylor Woodhouse on 1st May 2014 as Head of Conveyancing in the new Maidstone office, Debra is able to continue the proactive personalized service appreciated by her clients under the umbrella of the larger practice. Debra's true love is dogs and her garden and you will on occasion hear her dogs in the background, although mostly they just sleep the day away on their beds in her office. Caroline Cheary


Caroline is a Conveyancer and joined CTW in March 2015. She has worked for solicitors since 1983 and exclusively in conveyancing since 1996. Caroline likes baking, entertaining and reading. She is a Girl Guide Helper with her local Girl Guides. Marta Konieczna

Conveyancing Solicitor

Marta is a qualified solicitor specialising in residential conveyancing. Marta graduated from law at the University of Kent in Canterbury and then studied law at the University of Law in London, Bloomsbury. She then completed her training contract. Marta writes articles on property law and is actively contributing to the Polish community in Kent. Marta also runs ths firm Polish-language team. Natalie Madley

Natalie read Law at London Guildhall University and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course shortly after. She qualified as a solicitor in June 2014 and has worked in residential conveyancing for many years. Natalie has been with CTW since September 2011 and is pleased to have started her career as a solicitor with the firm. Tina McIntyre


Tina McIntyre joined Cook Taylor Woodhouse in August 2006, as a conveyancer and specialises in domestic freehold and leasehold conveyancing transactions. Tina has been in the conveyancing business for 16 years. Outside of the office Tina is kept very busy by her two girls, Ellie and Jade. Ellis Thake

Ellis joined in June 2012 and specialises in residential conveyancing of both freehold and leasehold properties. Ellis has worked in conveyancing since leaving school and is currently in the process of qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer.
